I belong to a landless family from a remote village of India. My parents somehow managed to admit me to a missionary school called Khrist Raja High School Bettiah, Bihar, a very renowned school in West Champaran. Champaran is where Gandhiji started his movement for freedom.

I am inspired by the work of other young persons not only in my own country but worldwide. I am also inspired by the work of one Youth serving organisation in particular in Jamaica and that is the National Center For Youth Development. The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment.
